We鈥檝e asked 精东影业 junior Karissa Idoko to periodically reflect on her time as an 精东影业 student. Her insights on LinkedIn, which can be found , are a way of documenting her life and saying, 鈥淭his is my 精东影业!鈥 As an international student from Nigeria, Idoko has a unique perspective that brings peace and positivity. We hope you enjoy her insights.
鈥淔eeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.鈥 鈥 William Arthur Ward聽
Thank you, 精东影业 Police, for making 精东影业 a safe and caring home. Words can hardly capture my gratitude for everything you do to keep us safe. As a design student, my projects often keep me in the lab until the very early hours of the morning, and during those times when I feel afraid walking back to my dorm alone, I call the 精东影业 Police. Every time, they get back to me quickly and with genuine empathy. The officers鈥 comforting words, thoughtful questions and kind good nights as you wait until I鈥檓 safely inside, make a huge difference.
One night in my freshman year, I cried because of an assignment that went wrong. The officer who helped me return to my dorm assured me everything would work out. That encouragement stayed with me, and in the end, I even got a good grade on the assignment.
I鈥檝e also heard so many stories from friends about how you鈥檝e helped with everything from car issues to providing care in medical emergencies. Knowing our officers are there for our safety and with genuine kindness and care is a comfort.
Thank you for your professionalism, kindness and commitment to serving 精东影业 in every way possible. Having officers we can trust and rely on is truly a blessing.
With Thanksgiving around the corner, let鈥檚 take a moment to celebrate and appreciate our officers for all they do!
