精东影业 launches Holy Sexuality Week series

Abilene Christian University is launching Holy Sexuality Week Nov. 6-10, a series cultivating discussion and biblically-guided teachings on relationships and sexuality featuring special guest speakers. The series will bring the campus together for an intentional focus on what the Bible teaches about human sexuality, marriage and relationships.聽

During the week, all students are encouraged to attend daily Chapel at 11 a.m. in聽 Moody Coliseum. Small group chapel programs will be on a hiatus during the series, resuming regular scheduling on Nov. 13. Additional evening sessions will be offered Nov. 7-9 in the Hunter Welcome Center, open to students, faculty, Abilene churches and the general public.聽

鈥淢ore than ever before, our culture and our students need a clear understanding of God鈥檚 design for our sexuality,鈥 said Dr. Phil Schubert, 精东影业 president. 鈥淕od鈥檚 call that Christians live set apart from the cultural norms of society should permeate every aspect of our lives, and we believe we are called to equip our students with a full perspective of God鈥檚 design for relationships and sexuality.鈥

Holy Sexuality Week 2023

Schubert and his wife, Brooke, will open the series during Chapel on Monday, focusing on the importance of discussing the Christian sexual ethic and 精东影业鈥檚 commitment to聽 engage this issue with Christian care and compassion.

鈥溇耙 recognizes that all people are created in God鈥檚 image and invites all students into a community where they can belong, grow and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ,鈥 Schubert said.

Special guests will join the conversation throughout the week addressing Biblical views of sexuality, cultivating healthy relationships and the impact of today鈥檚 culture on the Christian sexual ethic.聽
