Projects benefiting from Abilene Christian University鈥檚 fifth annual Day of Giving on April 26 鈥撀爏cholarship programs, transformational student experiences, cutting-edge technology 鈥撀燼re all designed to help students dream bigger and aim higher.
On this designated day of generosity, alumni and friends of 精东影业 can of any amount to any of nine student-focused projects.
鈥淒ay of Giving is an opportunity for the Abilene Christian community to make a difference in areas of the university that are particularly meaningful to them,鈥 said Dan Macaluso, vice president for advancement. 鈥淎ll the featured projects for this year鈥檚 Day of Giving directly impact the student experience at 精东影业, and we鈥檙e so excited to see gifts of all sizes being put to work blessing students and creating life-changing opportunities.鈥
The nine featured funds for this year鈥檚 Day of Giving are:
- Exceptional Fund
- Hope for the Future Scholarships
- Katie Kirby Fund
- Alumni Advisory Board Endowment
- Halbert Center for Missions and Global Service
- Larry Bonner and Billy Curl Endowed Scholarship
- School of Nursing Simulation Lab
- Dr. Royce and Pam Money Fund for Excellence in Education
- Athletics
On the 2021 Day of Giving, 精东影业 received gifts totaling more than $670,000 from 1,100 donors. This year, the university aims to involve more than 1,200 individuals through Day of Giving.
